Back from the "battlefield"....FREEDOM AT LAST.......!!

I spent some time going through my friends pages and see what I've missed out on lately. I suppose the talk of the town is the postponement on the release of the GACKT DVD. So from memory, they've delayed the release of this DVD for the second time now. Fans have been excessively "imagining" reasons upon reasons as to why the release has been pushed to 2010 XD

To me, a delay for a one-off occassion is OK, something must have happened and it's understandable but doing it twice, to me, is just false advertising. So you got all the lovely pictures and whatever to entice the consumers to buy the product and then all you do is type a few words on your webpage to say that the product release has been pushed back 2 months?

If you haven't got the product ready then DON'T advertise it! At the very least have a prototype which is near 90% completion. Anything less, is just not acceptable. Don't go crazily promoting the thing, like as if it's going to hit the shelves (not literally) the next day and hope and pray to the spirits that you'll be able to finish the project before the release date.

It's just not fair on the fans or the consumers that had pre-ordered/PAID for the product.

To tell you the truth, I'm starting to lose faith in the management for DEARS releases (NOTE: not GACKT, himself) - it's like as if they don't give a damn. If they were given the choice of expediency and quality control - they'd definitely go for the first option. I mean, if only one person went and actually did a quality control check on the LOST ANGELS CD, they would have been able to fix the issue before the release. It would have saved all the trouble of getting consumers to return the faulty disks and having to mass reproduce the CD for DEARS and all the other things that resulted from that issue.

But, with that said, I guess it's not too bad of an idea that the release has been postponed, at least maybe this time they can actually check and verify that the product is final and complete before they ship it out XD

If you refer back to the picture I posted in the last entry you would have noticed that there was a pocket on the blazier but strangely these new pics of the uniform....there are NO blazier pockets!!??

Anyway, that's all for now and maybe for a little while since I have to enter the battlefield (a.k.a. exam period) XD

So GOOD...I am feeling a lot better now that the stupid pageant is over - finally the TV is pageant-commercial-free again!! XD

Also as everyone knows, the 「神威♂楽園 de イキナ祭」 has finally kicked off on Friday and I'd imagine many fans overseas are kicking themselves because they can't attend.......for those that are not willing to admit jealousy ~ I understand! Hahahaha!! ^^

I found some pictures of the uniform & tie that could be brought from the event. I'm still wondering whether they are genuine since the pattern of the ties look different when sold individually and with the uniform.

Not sure, though they both bear the event logo(s) so.....I guess they are authentic???

Halloween has been the same at our place for the past couple of years: quiet.

Kids in our neighbourhood are all grown up and nobody seems to care too much for the tradition. Though it is hard to say whether Halloween bears any significance whatsoever to Australians except to the benefit of retailers and their confectionery stock.

However, it was interesting to see that there was someone that came knocking at our door. Well, not literally 'knocking' but the visitor appeared after we had dinner and was thoroughly enjoying the comfort of our 'Welcome' doormat ^^ It was a cat.

It was dark so I couldn't see the colour very well but it was not very big. It was just sitting patiently outside on our doormat and peering into our house. I kneeled down behind the screen door to look closer at the cat and was surprised to see that it wasn't afraid of me (usually the cats in our neighbourhood run away at the first sight of strangers). We looked at each other for a little while and I noticed it didn't have a collar. I wondered whether I should go out and pet it but before I decided I was called in to do a chore and when I returned...it left.

Maybe next time~~ ^^
